Sir Bysshe Shelley, 1st Baronet
Sir Bysshe Shelley, 1st Baronet of Castle Goring (21 June 1731 – 6 January 1815) was the grandfather of Romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley.
==Life==

ISBN 0-87413-870-1〕 He became rich and influential due to a combination of marriages to women from other influential families and his own family's wealth.〔(A Biographical Sketch by blupete: Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822) )〕 In the 1790s, following the death of his second wife, he built a magnificent country house, Castle Goring, which he intended to be the family seat.
